Melissa Wallace, artist and painter, paints at her studio and gallery on shores of Lake Taupo, NZ. Showcasing NZ flora, native birds and scenery, Melissa's artwork and paintings are inspired by her natural surroundings. Her paintings are sought after and are displayed in several international personal collections.
Working with canvas on a frame, with different mediums, Melissa uses professional acrylic paint, and uses texture when she's wanting a bolder affect. She likes to paint things that are interesting to her, then incorporate balance and colour. Her paintings always have much consideration and spending time to perfect them, is what she believes makes a great painting.
